Matt Smith DOCTOR WHO Finale Details

The final Matt Smith Doctor Who episode will be The Time of the Doctor. The Christmas episode sees Smith’s Eleventh Doctor regenerate into a new form (played by Peter Capaldi.)

The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special is this weekend on BBC. Whovians who’ve been following the 50th Anniversary comic book celebration get an early treat this week: the finale of the year-long comic book story starring all the Time Lords and some of your favorite companions and villains.

IDW Publishing (via Facebook) shared this stunning image by Francesco Francavilla collecting all the Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time covers into one “fantastic” poster.

The Day of the Doctor is coming but you can relive decades of cosmic memories in this 50th Anniversary tribute from BBC America.

Time Lords, companions, villains and gadgets pack this spectacular salute to the iconic series celebrating 50 years and the penultimate appearance of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor.

I was filled with nostalgia, excitement and almost teared up as we saw Sarah Jane Smith, Daleks and even jelly babies but enough talking take a look for yourself and enjoy watching for clues and watching for visual tributes to the history of the Time Lord.

DOCTOR WHO 50th Anniversary Special Poster, Title!

Doctor meets Doctor (meets Doctor) in the 50th Anniversary Special!

BBC America revealed the first poster for the meeting of the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor (plus one) and the big event will be called The Day of the Doctor.

Next DOCTOR WHO Revealed

The BBC revealed the 12th Doctor Who:

Peter Capaldi was unveiled in a live worldwide special on the BBC.

The actor has been a lifelong fan. Capaldi confessed he was working in Prague and missed “the call” that he’d got the job. Capaldi was seen in the David Tennant episode The Fires of Pompeii episode. The special revealed Capaldi wrote a fan letter when he was 15.
