SPIDER-MAN 2099 New Series

Spider-Man 2099 is back in his own solo series. Peter David created Miguel O’Hara back in the 1990’s as part of Marvel’s 2099 future line (which included X-Men, Punisher and Doom 2099.)

 

O’Hara came into our present in the pages of Superior Spider-Man last year. David will spin new stories of O’Hara in the Marvel Now with artist Will Sliney with covers by Simone Bianchi.

A tease for Spider-Woman fans at a fan powered panel at Emerald City Comicon. The final question in the Pint O’ C.B. panel came from a Spider-Woman cosplayer asking for a Spider-Woman series?

 

“Let’s just say at the end of the year, you’ll be very happy,” said C.B. Cebulski, Marvel talent scout.

CHARLES SOULE on INHUMAN at ECCC

Charles Soule is one of the busiest writers in comics and busiest guests at Emerald City Comicon this weekend. With Superman/Wonder Woman, Red Lanterns, Swamp Thing for DC and Thunderbolts, She-Hulk for Marvel Soule was on multiple panels answering fan questions.

 

Inhuman #1 is the big Marvel book on this fan’s brain. Soule teams up with artist Joe Madureira for a brand new title that stars classic characters like Black Bolt and Medusa while introducing all-new heroes and villains born as a result of the terrigen bomb detonation in Infinity.

AMY ACKER Joins AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. As Coulson’s Cellist

Amy Acker (Angel, Person of Interest) joins the Marvel Universe as a woman from Agent Phil Coulson’s past.

 

You may recall Coulson telling Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) about a cellist from Portland, Oregon in Iron Man and The Avengers.
