LUKE CAGE, IRON FIST And DEFENDERS Video Teasers

Marvel and Netflix shared first looks at their new series Marvel’s Luke Cage and Marvel’s Iron Fist and a teaser for Marvel’s Defenders at San Diego Comic Con.

Spinning off Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Mike Colter returns as Cage in his own series.

“After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable Cage becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.”

Finn Jones will play Danny Rand, billionaire orphan raised in a mystical city who returns to reclaim his life and fight crime as Iron Fist. Marvel’s Uncanny Inhumans panel at San Diego Comic Con was packed with updates on the upcoming relaunches of both the Inhuman and X-Men franchises.

Uncanny Inhumans writer Charles Soule, Extraordinary X-Men, Old Man Logan writer Jeff Lemire, Uncanny X-Men writer Cullen Bunn, Extraordinary X-Men artist Humberto Ramos, and Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso answered fan questions and revealed new details about the lines.
