Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart returns as Wolverine and Professor X with James Mangold (The Wolverine) directing.

In the near future, the X-Man looking like his Old Man Logan cares for an ailing Professor X. Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his past are torn away when a young mutant arrives hunted by a squad of soldiers.

Watch and enjoy but warning – there is language some may find offensive. It’s as sharp as the second set of claws we’re seeing for the first time. Continue reading LOGAN Final Trailer, Just Watch

Fans are speculating that X-23 will appear in Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine film, Logan.

It looks like we may have our first official confirmation.

The Instagram for the movie released a black and white photo of Dafne Keen, seen in the trailer. The caption reads “Laura” which may confirm the young actress is playing Laura Kinney aka X-23.

X-23 is the clone of Wolverine who first appeared in a X-Men animated series before joining comic books. Continue reading Is LOGAN’S LAURA X-23?

We now know the title of the third Wolverine standalone movie.

Director James Mangold tweeted a poster revealing the film is called Logan and will be released March 3, 2017.

Star Hugh Jackman previously said this will be his final appearance as Wolverine.

The poster shows the X-Man with claws popped but holding the hand of a child.

Could this mean Jackman’s last film as Wolverine introduce a younger member of the X-Man’s family from comics?

Wolverine is back for Secret Wars.

The Logan you love is still dead but Old Man Logan is back in a new tie-in series as that brutal future reality becomes a Warzone of Battleworld.

Brian Bendis and Andrea Sorrentino bring back the future X-Man from the Old Man Logan epic by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven.

In the original eight-issue story the former Wolverine refuses to use his claws and teams up with a now-blind Hawkeye on a mission to find his daughter in a world conquered and carved up by super villains. Continue reading OLD MAN LOGAN in SECRET WARS

Kitty Pryde joins Logan on his final adventure in Death of Wolverine #3 by Charles Soule and Steve McNiven this week.

Logan lost his healing factor, his enemies on the attack and his quest leads him to Japan to face one of his most powerful foes.

“This issue is very concerned with questions of acceptance of one’s mortality. The villain who shows up here is someone who ties thematically into those ideas very strongly—one of my long-time favorite Wolverine baddies, in fact. I think Steve and co. did an incredible job creating a Wolverine who’s fatalistic, but still up for a fight.” Soule told Marvel.com. Logan will be killed in Death of Wolverine by Charles Soule and Steve McNiven. Marvel says it’s serious about killing off the fan-favorite X-Man. The final journey began this week as Three Months To Die began in Wolverine #8 by Paul Cornell and Kris Anka.

While the story potential of a World Without Wolverine is incredible, this geek has a burning question: Could someone else become the next Wolverine?

In an earlier chapter I explored how Logan’s arch-enemy Sabretooth could assume the role. If Doc Ock could become a Superior Spider-Man, could one of Logan’s rivals become a Savage, Ruthless or Superior Wolverine?

What about Daken? Continue reading THE NEXT WOLVERINE Part II
