Forever Carlyle

 

One of my favorite new characters and books of 2013. Forever Carlyle is a creation of Greg Rucka and Michael Lark in Lazarus from Image Comics. In a near future there’s no government but powerful families control everything. The poor masses are referred to as waste. Each family has a Lazarus born to serve them. Alex + Ada #2  I picked up the first issue just because I loved Jonathan Luna’s haunting cover and now this second issue is a MUST. A beautiful future love story of a boy and his android girl who may not be what he’s expecting.

 

Batman #26 The Dark Knight, Jim Gordon working WITH the Riddler? With Gotham City in chaotic darkness Bruce may ally with the madman who tried to kill him in this critical untold chapter of Batman Zero Year.

Batman/Superman #2 The first issue of when Bruce met Clark blew me away. Greg Pak and Jae Lee create a thrilling, creepy mystery that brings the two iconic characters together and in this issue launches them out of this world.

 

Lazarus #2 Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s stunning new sci-fi epic is a sinister new spin on violent heroines in a dystopian future. I fell obsessively in love with the killer girl named Forever in just one issue! Run out and grab issue one, get this one and enjoy.
