Klingons in STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS and Beyond?

As I watched the big screen trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness right before Iron Man 3 this weekend I immediately thought John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch) is working with the Klingons!

The Federation’s greatest enemy (of the original Star Trek series) were developed but cut from J.J. Abrams first film.

At the Star Trek Into Darkness London premiere Damon Lindelof appears to confirm the inclusion of the alien warriors in the upcoming film and in a possible third movie:

Benedict Cumberbatch (playing a character named John Harrison) terrorizes Earth in Star Trek: Into Darkness hitting theaters next month.

This week watch for Star Trek: Prelude to Darkness #4. The is the finale of a prequel series from IDW Publishing  co-written by the film’s screenwriter.
