After taking away Logan’s mutant healing factor in Killable and having him beaten by Sabretooth, Logan declared “the Wolverine is dead.” Now Logan is working with low-life criminals. Continue reading WOLVERINE & SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN

Who says you can’t go home again?

Logan and Kitty Pryde head north to the infamous Howlett estate last seen in Origin.

The fan-favorite X-Man is a dead man running in writer Paul Cornell’s current Wolverine arc. Logan lost his healing factor and is now Killable. This is not the confident cocky X-Man you’re used to and as Cornell tells Marvel.com that’s the idea. Continue reading WOLVERINE Goes Home To Die?

Logan is a dead man running in writer Paul Cornell’s current Wolverine arc. The X-Man has lost his healing factor and is now Killable. This is not the confident cocky X-Man you’re used to and as Cornell tells Marvel.com that’s the idea.

“He’s certainly a bit more melancholy, in that he’s been suddenly faced with what most of us have years to get used to: the idea of mortality. He will indeed, over time, start to build a new fighting style, but right now he’s having to rely on what he’s got, and hope it doesn’t get him killed.”

The cinematic Logan (Hugh Jackman) may have been weakened and suffered a world of hurt in The Wolverine this summer but that’s nothing compared to what writer Paul Cornell is putting the X-Man through in Killable.

In the current Wolverine arc, Logan is searching for help after losing his healing factor. The eternal X-Man is like the title says is Killable. His enemies aren’t wasting this opportunity to try and take Logan out for good.

Logan’s big enemy is a microvirus. Mystique and Batroc have taken their best shots with more bad guys on the way but what about Wolverine’s ultimate enemy? Continue reading WOLVERINE, Sabretooth, Kitty Pryde in KILLABLE

WOLVERINE Is Killable

In The Wolverine we saw a weakened Logan (Hugh Jackman) struggle to survive Yakuza attacks with his healing factor damaged because of the Viper. In the comic books Wolverine is now Killable and the enemies are closing in while Logan is vulnerable.

Black Panther and Storm guest star in this week’s Wolverine #8 as Logan hunts for a cure in Wakanda. There will be a fight between Logan and T’Challa. If you want to know what’s fueling this feud check out Wolverine and the X-Men #24.

“It’s a six-issue arc that basically changes the position of Wolverine in the Marvel Universe,” writer Cornell tells Marvel.com. Continue reading WOLVERINE Is Killable
