October 30th 1938, Orson Wells produces a radio show of the H.G. Wells classic The War of the Worlds.

Concrete, Washington becomes the epicenter of Martian Invasion Hysteria when, at just the point when the Martians in the radio play attack, the power goes out.

Concrete Martians is a graphic novel of small town nightmares inspired by true events. The story based on the events of that day in Concrete based on anecdotal evidence gathered from various interviews from the people who experienced that night.   Concrete is in the beautiful North Cascades north of Seattle. This Pacific Northwest legend is the inspiration for a comic book just waiting for publisher.
