The Joker has been a man without a face since DC Comics rebooted The New 52. Batman’s greatest enemy had his face carved off in Detective Comics #1. A year later Joker launches a horrific campaign against the Dark Knight and his allies in Batman: Death of the Family.
DC Comics Editor Bob Harris share this first look at an earlier Joker designed by Andy Clarke and teases a story of the rogue’s past:

All of DC Comics’ New 52 titles will be replaced by Villains books this September.
Villains Month will spotlight 52 of the DC Universe’s biggest rogues in their own unique one-shots. DC has announced a compilation of these evil issues just in time for Santa’s nice and naughty list!
The DC NEW 52 VILLAINS OMNIBUS will be a complete and comprehensive guide to the huge September event.
