DC Comics brought the creators behind DC’s big event and new banner of comics hit the stage at San Diego Comic Con with new art and details.

DARK NIGHTS: METAL team Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo were joined by DARK MATTER contributors Jim Lee, Phillip Tan, James Tynion IV and Robert Venditti. Fans saw preview including Batmen from the Dark Multiverse:

BLOODSHOT SALVATION New ICONS Book For VALIANT Hero

The next chapter of Bloodshot is fatherhood as Valiant’s warrior becomes the next hero to join their Icons line.
Valiant announced BLOODSHOT SALVATION #1 (via The Washington Post)  – a new series from writer Jeff Lemire and artists Lewis LaRosa & Mico Suayan. The big news comes as Valiant brings creators and exclusives to Emerald City Comicon in Seattle.

Mister Sinister returned in Extraordinary X-Men #4 to deliver a shocking twist in the Mutant/Inhuman conflict.

Writer Jeff Lemire gave X-fans a “gift” in the Christmas week book and final issue of the year.

The mutant race is on the fast track to extinction again. The Terrigen Mists creating new Inhumans are killing and sterilizing mutants. Cyclops attacked the Inhumans and now he’s been  declared dead.

In this week’s chapter, Ororo, Old Man Logan, Jean and Iceman went to rescue Nightcrawler, Colossus and Magik from Sinister and his new Marauders.

One of Marvel’s strangest heroes gets a new shot at a series.

Following Marvel news at the Diamond Retailer Summit, Jeff Lemire confirmed via Twitter he and artist Greg Smallwood and Jordie Bellaire are the creative team on a brand new Moon Knight ongoing series. Smallwood soon followed sharing his “stash” of classic Moon Knight comics and appearances (the vigilante’s debut in Werewolf By Knight) he says he’s using as reference.

Marvel announced All-New Hawkeye writer Jeff Lemire, Amazing Spider-Man artist Humberto Ramos and colorist Edgar Delgado will be the team behind Extraordinary X-Men as revealed by Comic Book Resources.

A brand new team led by Storm with old and new versions of favorite X-Men will band together after “something big” happens between Inhumans and mutants including the disappearance of Cyclops.

Jeff Lemire (Green Arrow, Futures End) in his Marvel debut launches All-New Hawkeye #1 this week with artist Ramon Perez.

Kate Bishop returns to Clint Barton’s side but as Lemire explains the ward shares top billing with her mentor.

“To me Kate is an equal to Clint in terms of who is the ‘star’ of the book is. It’s equal billing. It will be as much Kate’s story as it is Clint’s.
