ROBERT DOWNEY JR’s Big Announcement: Four Theories

Robert Downey Jr. teased a “big announcement” in 8 days along with his Iron Man character poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron last week via Twitter.

What will it be?

Here are four theories for your consideration:

Iron Man/Spider-Man

RDJ is Marvel’s biggest box-office champ so why not have him help Spidey start swinging again. RDJ joined Captain America: Civil War. When Spidey joined Avengers in the Brian Bendis run, Peter Parker found a mentor in Tony Stark. I’d love to see Parker and Stark work together in a team-up film. ROBERT DOWNEY JR. Confirms IRON MAN 4 Talks

Will he or won’t he? (Robert Downey Jr. play Tony Stark in Iron Man 4.)

 

Will they or won’t they? (Marvel Studios/Disney find a way to make it work.)

 

Robert Downey Jr. confirmed he’s negotiating with Marvel/Disney to reprise his role as Tony Stark in a possible Iron Man 4.

 

The star will play Tony Stark in Avengers: Age of Ultron and in Avengers 3 but fans hope the Armored Avenger will have one or more solo movies.

 

While on The Ellen Show – the host asked the star point blank.
