Here’s a first look at Dustin Weaver’s art for Infinity #2 from Marvel. Writer Jonathan Hickman is joined by Jim Cheung, Weaver and Avengers World artist Jerome Opena on the epic clash between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes vs. Thanos and the mysterious Builders.

I’m a huge fan of Hickman and Weaver’s SHIELD series so it’s a thrill to see them work together again. The Hickman/Weaver SHIELD series is not about Nick Fury and super spies but rather Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo, Howard Stark and other super brains in a history twisting epic. The Builders (ancient aliens) are destroying entire worlds. The Avengers are in deep space fighting with alien races (Skrull, Kree, Shi’ar, Brood) they once fought against.

While Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are off-world, Thanos and his Black Order invade Earth.

In Avengers #18 last week – the first united fight against The Builders ended with a shocking twist.

Here’s a preview of this week’s Infinity tie-ins: Continue reading INFINITY Watch Week Three

Infinity #1 is out this week but Marvel is already sharing a look at how the massive event will end. Infinity is the big finish to what Jonathan Hickman has built in Avengers and New Avengers.

Thanos is back. Skrulls are back. Inhumans play a huge role. Mysterious new aliens make a move on Earth. The Avengers will have to the Universe’s Mightiest Heroes to stop the Mad God of Titan and his army of alien enforcers.

Infinity #6 by Hickman and artist Jim Cheung will be the final showdown between Marvel’s heroes and the forces of Thanos. Terry Dodson and Adam Kubert created two stunning variant covers for the double-sized finale. Continue reading INFINITY Finale Preview

When Jonathan Hickman took over Avengers he assembled a bigger roster of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!  It may not be enough!

It’s a war on two fronts when alien invaders set a collision course for Earth and Thanos launches a sneak attack on the planet, too.

Infinity#1  by Hickman and artist Jim Cheung arrives this week. Earth’s heroes face a double threat from The Builders and Thanos in this six-part epic.

“The universe’s greatest serial killer is cut loose to do bad things to our most precious world,” Continue reading INFINITY WEEK IS HERE
