Marvel cast retired NFL star turned actor Matthew Willig as Lash for Agents of SHIELD. Lash is a recently created comic book villain who will be a major threat on season three.

Lash was co-created by Charles Soule and Joe Maduiera in the Inhuman comic book. This powerhouse from a secret tribe emerged after Terrigenesis spread across the Earth creating NuHumans. Lash considers himself judge of which new Inhumans are worthy of having powers. Lash came instant enemies with Queen Medusa who gave refuge to NuHumans.

New INHUMAN On MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD

The Inhuman factor is booming in the Marvel Universe. In the winter finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. Skye and Raina were exposed as Inhumans.

Marvel announced Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People, Home and Away) will join the series as Lincoln, a charismatic Inhuman “who has an important role to play in Skye understanding the true extent of her transformation.”
