Inhumanity spread across Earth when Black Bolt detonated a Terrigen Bomb in the fight to save his race and stop Thanos during Infinity.

The bomb ignited long dormant genes inside the human race transforming some people into Inhumans. How are Marvel’s heroes, villains and what’s left of the Royal Family reacting to the sudden emergence of (thousands, millions) of new Inhumans?

Writer Charles Soule, artist Joe Madureira will explore the classic and brand new characters in this strange new world in Inhuman #1.  Soule and Editor Nick Lowe answered fans questions and revealed plans for the factions in a Marvel liveblog. Here are the highlights with stunning preview art of Queen Medusa and brand new characters: Continue reading INHUMAN Preview With Charles Soule

1. Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier

I sighed when Bucky’s solo series ended last year but Captain America’s sidekick turned deadly enemy turned ally will have a huge 2014.

On the big screen Sebastian Stan reprises his role as Bucky in Captain America: The Winter Soldier coming April 4. The Star-Spangled Avenger’s sequel is based on my all-time favorite Cap stories by Ed Brubaker.

Bucky co-stars in the All-New Invaders by James Robinson. The World War II heroes reunite against the Kree in the upcoming book. The Winter Soldier: The Bitter March by Rick Remender is a Nick Fury retro story set back when Bucky was the brainwashed assassin. Continue reading 14 Comic Characters to Watch in 2014

New books, new teams, new story arcs. Marvel will recharge the line with the All-New Marvel Now starting with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in December with a new #1 .NOW Entry for all readers. Marvel starts the wave of news with a fan-favorite team, a classic concept reborn and a new twist on a Marvel family.

Avengers #24.NOW is the kickoff of Rogue Planet #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic (Thor: God of Thunder) as the Avengers reassemble as a “rogue planet hurtles toward Earth.”

Avengers #24.Now hits in December, one year after Hickman relaunched the flagship title. Rogue Planet follows the massive Infinity event currently rocking the entire Marvel Universe. From the Ribic cover it looks like Hickman’s new recruits survive the showdown with Thanos and the Builders. No word on if more heroes will join the already massive team roster.
