The Monster Men are coming to the Batman family of books but a classic villain made a creepy surprise return in this week’s Batman #9.

Batfans will spot another familiar name in this week’s chapter of I Am Gotham.

This week’s comeback follows last issue’s revealed rogue and a new conspiracy in Gotham City.

Tom King and David Finch gave us the part of the secret origin of Bruce Wayne’s new super powered sidekicks.

King (former CIA analyst and Grayson co-writer) definitely brings themes of espionage, plots within counter-plots and is taking the book outside of Gotham City’s boundaries.

GOTHAM Renewed for Season Three

Gotham will be back for a third season.

Fox announced the renewal of the Batman-prequel series and addition of Paul Reubens to cast according to Variety. Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman) will play Elijah Van Dahl, father of Oswald Cobbleplot aka Penguin.

Wrath of the Villains is the overarching theme of the second half of the second season as Bruce Wayne gets closer to finding his parents’ killer and Detective Jim Gordon faced Mr. Freeze and what could be the biggest threat to good and bad guys in Gotham City: Professor Hugo Strange. GOTHAM Fall Finale Burning Questions

Gotham The Fall Finale was packed with action, shocks, revelations and the debut of two classic Batman villains.
