In The Wolverine fans saw some the X-Man’s greatest lovers and villains for the first time on the big screen. Logan’s adventure in Japan saw the introduction of Mariko, Yukio and Viper but the big surprise was seeing Jean Grey.

THE WOLVERINE is almost out on Blu-Ray!

THE WOLVERINE Sequel Comic Based

Director James Mangold is working on a potential sequel to The Wolverine. Hugh Jackman’s latest solo X-Man film was based upon the classic limited series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. While discussing the upcoming extended edition of the movie, the director says the sequel will also take inspiration from comic book stories.

 

“Absolutely. I can tell you that in determining where we are going I’m not solely relying on my own imagination but also the imaginations that have spun great stories about Wolverine in the comics,” Mangold told I Am Rogue.

X-Men: Days of Future Past – the trailer is here. Based on the story by Chris Claremont, mutants from an apocalyptic future go into the past to change history and save the mutant race from extinction.

 

Director Bryan Singer returns to the X-family to unite the casts of the original X-trilogy and X-Men: First Class.   As you can see by the trailer, Singer and his team were inspired by the classic comic book story but with executed a huge twist in who becomes the blast into the past.   Watch and enjoy:

James McAvoy reprises his X-Men: First Class role as Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The star praises the upcoming film and director in a new interview with IGN.

WOLVERINE Creator On Credit, Royalties and Hugh Jackman

Wolverine creator Len Wein says he’s received more royalties from The Dark Knight Trilogy that all the X-Men movies combined. The legendary writer creator Wolverine in Incredible Hulk #181. When Wein relaunched All-New, All-Different X-Men in the early 1970’s he co-created Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and made Logan part of the revamped team.

 

But it’s an important supporting character in the Batman family that’s meant more checks!
