Breakout artist Babs Tarr, writers Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher gave Barbara a modern edge and fans loved it. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Screenwriter On GAMORA

Screenwriter Nicole Perlman helped introduce Guardians of the Galaxy to the world at the movies. Now she will write her first comic book series starring Gamora.

Announced at the Women of Marvel New York Comic Con panel, the new Gamora ongoing will arrive in Spring 2015.

Marvel revealed the official website for Avengers: Age of Ultron.

It’s bare bones but bares the ominous Ultron-ized “A” team logo.

Fans can see the official trailer, hear what might be music from the sequel’s soundtrack, downloads and synopsis.

Marvel revealed via the Guardians of the Galaxy Twitter that the Digital HD and Blu Ray will include a set visit to the Avengers sequel with director Joss Whedon and new footage of Scarlet Witch demonstrating her power.

Josh Brolin’s appearance as Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy was just the warm-up for the big cosmic battle ahead.

Marvel announced the list of Phase Three movies leading up to Avengers: The Infinity War Parts One & Two.

While promoting his role in Inherent Vice, Brolin summed up what will be the third and fourth Avengers movie:

“I love the idea of Thanos,” says Brolin. “…Ultimately, it’s Thanos against everyone. Why wouldn’t you do that?”Brolin told ComingSoon.net.

MARVEL Stars Chris Pratt, Chadwick Boseman Are GQ MEN of the Year

Two Marvel Cinematic Universe stars are GQ Men of the Year. It’s a fitting finale to a great year at the box-office for comic book movies.

Guardians of the Galaxy lead Chris Pratt and upcoming Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman are among this year’s honorees.

GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson hosted the 19th annual “Men of the Year” Party, celebrating this year’s distinguished honorees featured in the December issue “who have undeniably left their mark in 2014.”

Marvel heroes dominated the movie box-office. 2014 is the year Marvel really went into orbit with a ragtag bunch of “losers” who injected new excitement into their cinematic universe.

Here are great gifts for Marvel fans inspired by this year’s hit.

Guardians of the Galaxy was Marvel’s biggest gamble yet with little known heroes who aren’t really superheroes. Chris Pratt was Peter Quill/Star-Lord who assembled Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot into unlikely heroes against the Ronan the Accuser. Writer/director James Gunn gave fans a Star Wars for the Marvel Universe. The film also introduced the Nova Corps, Nebula and Josh Brolin as Thanos. GUARDIANS TEAM-UP by BENDIS

Guardians of the Galaxy conquered the global box-office now they’re dominating comic book shops. Guardians, Rocket Raccoon, Legendary Star-Lord will be followed by Gamora in 2015.

Marvel recruited Brian Michael Bendis to launch Guardians Team-Up in February 2015 with legendary artist Arthur Adams. The cosmic heroes will teaming up with Avengers for big adventures.

As Bendis explains – nostalgia for Marvel’s classic combo books was part of his inspiration for the book.

CHRIS PRATT Named GQ ACTION HERO OF THE YEAR

From Guardians of the Galaxy to GQ cover man. The star of Marvel’s box-office champion film is named Action Hero of the Year in the upcoming GQ Men of the Year issue.
Pratt says he didn’t see his weight as a problem when everyone thought he was too fat for his role.
