DC Comics shared this ominous image! Lights Out will hit the Green Lantern books this October. All new creative teams are taking over the GL books this month in the wake of Geoff Johns final GL issue. It sure looks like a crossover of the GL family of books like Wrath of the First Lantern.

What could this mean?

The power source of the Lanterns go out? The death of a member of the Green Lantern Corps?

What do you think?

This week marks an Emerald Dawn for the Green Lantern family of books with new blood, new creative teams and new threats!

It all kicks off in the flagship book out this week:

A new beginning for Hal Jordan begins in Green Lantern #21 by new creative team: Robert Venditti and Billy Tan.

Jordan is now the leader of the Green Lantern Corps! How will the hero lead the most hated and feared group in the universe?

Plus, a new villain is on the way – the Relic!

Venditti tells MTV GEEK, he’ll “tie together every Lantern of every color that has ever appeared in any comic book ever.”

Green Lantern #21 arrives this week with new creative teams on all the GL books coming later this month!
