Back to back DC Comics inspired heroes and villains return this Fall. Fox revealed new footage for Gotham and Lucifer.

Heroes Will Fall on Gotham Season Three as the Batman origin series pulls back the curtains on the mysterious organization known as The Court of Owls in the aftermath of last season’s finale.

Fallen officer Jim Gordon becomes a bounty hunter out to capture Professor Hugo Strange and the escapees of his Indian Hill including the resurrected Fish Mooney.

The former mobster turned super powered refugee will form new alliances and the stage is set for a rematch with The Penguin.

RIDDLER Changes the Game on GOTHAM

Mad Grey Dawn may be our favorite episode of Gotham so far.

Producers cut the gore and violence and turned up the mind games and heartbreak as Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) emerged as the series most intriguing villain.

This episode could be hailed as the true “Birth of the Riddler” it felt like a twisted-filled finale with huge impact on Jim, Lee, Harvey, Bruce and Penguin.

GOTHAM Renewed for Season Three

Gotham will be back for a third season.

Fox announced the renewal of the Batman-prequel series and addition of Paul Reubens to cast according to Variety. Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman) will play Elijah Van Dahl, father of Oswald Cobbleplot aka Penguin.

Wrath of the Villains is the overarching theme of the second half of the second season as Bruce Wayne gets closer to finding his parents’ killer and Detective Jim Gordon faced Mr. Freeze and what could be the biggest threat to good and bad guys in Gotham City: Professor Hugo Strange. WRATH of AZRAEL on GOTHAM

The Wrath of the Villains is coming then Gotham returns for a second half of season two.

Producers confirmed Azrael is coming and are giving hints about how the warrior of vengeance will be portrayed on the before Batman prequel series.

In the Fall finale, the Order of St. Dumas failed in their plot to seize Gotham City and destroy the last surviving Wayne. The Order’s Theo Galavan died.

Azrael is a title passed down in the brotherhood. This “Angel of Death” enforces The Order’s agenda and executes its vengeance.

In the comics, an adult Batman faced Azrael (Jean Paul Valley) who became an independent anti-crime crusader and even was Batman.

Will Penguin face the Wrath of Fish Mooney?

The mob boss was last seen falling into a watery grave after a deadly confrontation with Penguin in last season’s finale.

You can’t keep a bad villainess down and Fish Mooney will become a fish out of water.

Jada Pinkett Smith has signed on to return to Gotham according to TV Line.

It appeared the fallen mobster’s dead body was in the labs of Professor Hugo Strange in the Fall finale. The dead Theo Galavan was taken into Strange’s lab.
