X-MEN ResurrXion Books For Your Consideration Updated

ResurrXion marks a rebirth for the X-Men books in 2017.

Marvel announced new titles starring Iceman, Jean Grey, Cable, Weapon X, Generation X and two flagship books: X-Men Gold, X-Men Blue.

If the news has your feeling nostalgic for more ’90’s excitement we’re with you. After all Blue and Gold teams were the stars of the first X-Men #1 by the legendary team of Chris Claremont and Jim Lee and Uncanny X-Men #281 by Claremont and Whilce Portacio.

As the mutants experience a rebirth next year, we can’t help but hope for a return of more mutants, books and teams. Here are our more ResurrXion X-books for your consideration:

GENERATION X RESURRXION Reveal

Generation X #1 is the latest ResurrXion teaser from Marvel via Twitter with the tease of a new series coming in 2017 in the aftermath of Inhumans vs. X-Men.

The image shows various members of “younger generation” teams including Generation X, New Mutants, Generation Hope, New Mutants, New X-Men: Academy X and Wolverine and the X-Men when Logan established the Jean Grey School.

The first Generation X (seen here, co-created by Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo) evolved out of the Phalanx Covenant when Emma Frost and the late Banshee established a mutant school where Jubilee transferred and introduced future X-Men incluidng M (Monet St. Croix) Husk, and Chamber got a higher education in mutant 101.

Blink in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Director Bryan Singer revealed a new character and casting addition for X-Men: Days of Future Past via Twitter. Fan BingBing will play Blink according to Deadline.

Blink is a teleporter created in Uncanny X-Men #317 and just when you thought Clarice Ferguson would go on to be part of Generation X but she died in the Phalanx Covenant storyline.
