With Josh Brolin proudly wearing the Infinity Gauntlet at San Diego Comic Con after the announcement he’s playing Thanos, is it only a matter of time before we discover the Marvel Cinematic endgame?

 

The clues are there.

ZOE SALDANA On GAMORA In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Preview

Zoe Saldana is becoming the modern queen of sci-fi. After iconic roles in Star Trek and Avatar, the actress is bringing a Marvel Comics femme fatale to the big screen in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Saldana is gorgeous in green skin as Gamora – soldier, assassin, seductress and daughter of Thanos (last seen The Avengers.)

Marvel released a new featurette with Saldana explaining what makes Gamora tick.

How Much THANOS In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Possible details about how much Thanos will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy following news that Josh Brolin will be the voice of the Mad God of Titan.

 

The purple alien overlord (who appeared briefly in the post-credit scene in The Avengers) will appear in the first act of Guardians and communicate via hologram to the film’s chief villains Ronan (Lee Pace) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) according to Vulture. Guardians of the Galaxy #14 features three stories that might make you wish for three Guardians books and inspire sequel dreams for the movie that isn’t even out yet.
The double-sized anniversary issue marks the 100th issue starring the cosmic Avengers. In the marquee story by writer Brian Michael Bendis and new artist Nick Bradshaw (Wolverine and the X-Men) with Jason Masters and Todd Nauck, three arcs act like a spiral star converging into a big cliffhanger.

 

Flash Thompson aka Agent Venom is the new envoy from the Avengers. Drax takes Flash on a rite of passage in a seedy galactic underbelly that Greedo or Han Solo would feel right at home in. Saldana goes green (on Orion slave girl green) as Gamora, a soldier/assassin with connections to Thanos and Nebula (Karen Gillan.)

 

Gamora unites with Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and other alien refugees against the forces of evil.

Zoe Saldana Joining GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY?

Zoe Saldana (Star Trek, Avatar) could add a new sci-fi role to her stellar resume! The actress is in talks to play the female lead in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision.

Saldana would play an alien assassin named Gamora. The green-skinned beauty is the last of her race – destroyed by the Badoon.
