Joss Whedon created the short-lived but passionately loved Firefly television series.

The adventures continued in the feature film Serenity.

Now Browncoats fans know what happens next.

UPDATE:

Due to filming conflicts Barracin can no longer attend. ECCC recruited fellow Firefly star Jewel Staite to appear at the Seattle event.

Emerald City Comicon recruits two stars from the Whedonverse. Morena Baccarin played Inara on Firefly then in the film Serenity.Baccarin went on to roles on V, Stargate S.G. One and the acclaimed Emmy winning drama Homeland.

 

Baccarin is not just a sci-fi icon but has an incredible list of voice roles playing iconic comic book characters including Talia Al Ghul, Cheetah and Black Canary.

CHIWETEL EJIOFOR And SERENITY at Seattle International Film Festival

Browncoats and science fiction have a very stellar reason to attend the Seattle International Film Festival. Acclaimed actor Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) will receive a SIFF Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting prior to the screening of Half of a Yellow Sun on May 19th.

MORENA BACCARIN At FAN EXPO VANCOUVER

Morena Baccarin is a shining sci-fi star among a galaxy of celebrity guests appearing at Fan Expo Vancouver this weekend. Fans packed a ballroom Friday evening for the chance to ask questions with Baccarin and lined up today for autographs and to express their endless devotion to Firefly.

 

After Firefly the series and Serenity the movie Baccarin went on to roles on V, Stargate S.G. One and the acclaimed drama Homeland. After playing the heroine Inara she left the Firefly ship to invade Earth as the evil Anna on V.  I asked if the shift to the dark side of sci-fi was on purpose.
