This post doesn’t really fit into the comics/sci fi genre but since Ferris Bueller was my hero I hope you’ll let me slip this one by. 

Like many of my contemporaries I rented Ferris Bueller’s Day Off multiple times and “Save Ferris” became a mantra of my youth. When rumblings of a Ferris Bueller commercial is the Super Bowl leaked I immediately hoped for an encore of “Twist and Shout” in the streets of Chicago or maybe a mad chase set to the iconic theme “Ohhhhhhh Yeah.”

I’ve tried to live my life based on one of Ferris (John Hughes) best lines:

‘Life comes at you pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while you might miss it.”
