The secret showdown we never saw…until now.

Marvel shared new art from Death of X while announcing artist Aaron Kuder is now a Marvel exclusive creator.

It’s a huge first project for his Marvel reign: the start of the X-Men/Inhuman war and fate of Cyclops.

Death of X by writers Jeff Lemire (Extraordinary X-Men, Old Man Logan) and Charles Soule (Uncanny Inhumans) and Kuder will reveal what happened to Cyclops and Emma Frost in the eight months after the end of Secret Wars and the launch of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

When the new era began we learned the Terrigen Mists that created new Inhumans was killing and sterilizing mutants. Storm’s team established X-Haven in Limbo as a refuge for mutants they rescued from what became known as M-Pox. We learned Cyclops died in battle with the Inhumans. Emma Frost was MIA and no one has mentioned her. Continue reading X-MEN VS INHUMAN POWER COUPLES

Marvel and Fox are teaming up on two television series set in the X-Men universe and they’re bringing on the bad guys.

Hellfire is the working title for a series set in the 1960’s and featuring an evil inner circle of rich and powerful mutants, the Hellfire Club.

X-Men producing team Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler-Donner and Simon Kinberg will work with Marvel Television Head Jeph Loeb on Hellfire and Legion, the son of Professor X.

What is the Hellfire Club? These were actual exclusive high society clubs in 18th century England where rich rakes indulged in decadent parties and schemed to gain more power and wealth. Continue reading HELLFIRE CLUB for X-MEN TV

Brian Michael Bendis is wrapping up his Uncanny X-Men, All-New X-Men run. The fan-favorite writer confirmed his final issue, Uncanny X-Men #600, will be delayed until October after Secret Wars.

This milestone issue will be his final word on classic and new mutants he created. Bendis inherited “broken” super couple Scott Summers and Emma Frost after the tragic events of Avengers vs. X-Men. Cyclops and Frost broke up and their powers were broken.

Cyclops and the Phoenix are far from over as you can see in the pages of Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman.

What does Bendis have to say about where he’s taken Scott and Emma on his X-run? Continue reading CYCLOPS & EMMA FROST BROKEN By BENDIS
