IVX #6
The epic finale of the war for survival between X-Men and Inhumans. It all comes down to Queen vs. Queen! Emma Frost vs. Medusa for the future of their races. After what Charles Soule and Jeff Lemire did to Cyclops in Death of X, what will be Emma Frost’s fate? Will she get her revenge? Who will save mutants from Terrigen? ResurrXion marks a rebirth for the X-Men books in 2017.
Marvel announced new titles starring Iceman, Jean Grey, Cable, Weapon X, Generation X and two flagship books: X-Men Gold, X-Men Blue.
If the news has your feeling nostalgic for more ’90’s excitement we’re with you. After all Blue and Gold teams were the stars of the first X-Men #1 by the legendary team of Chris Claremont and Jim Lee and Uncanny X-Men #281 by Claremont and Whilce Portacio.

I think I’m ready to talk about the Death of X finale.
They say you only hurt the ones you love. Marvel must be truly, madly, deeply in love with Scott Summers.
Fans have known for a year that Cyclops died in the eight month gap after the Secret Wars finale and All-New, All-Different Marvel Now launch. I kept believing it wasn’t so. Emma Frost was missing in action. The X-Men’s modern mainstay power couple was off the grid as the mutant race faced a new genetic crisis.
Death of X #4 revealed the truth after a year of speculation and set the stage for war in Inhumans vs. X-Men next month.
Even this lifelong X-Fan was scratching my head with this week’s Death of X #3 as a minor character the past is recruited by Cyclops for a big league return and will play a huge role in the upcoming war between the X-Men and Inhumans.
Death of X is revealing the origin of the IvX conflict, the fate of Cyclops and Emma Frost and more of what happened in the eight months following the Secret Wars finale and All-New, All-Different Marvel Now Extraordinary X-Men launch.
The four-part series by Charles Soule, Jeff Lemire and Aaron Kuder already featured the return of several missing in action mutants and the death of a fan-favorite. Along with Cyclops and Emma Frost we have witnessed the return of mutants from multiple eras including Wolfsbane, Warpath, Goldballs and the Stepford Cuckoos.
