A true science fiction icon and groundbreaking Hollywood legend beams to Seattle for a world premiere and look back at his role in a trio of classic movies this weekend.

 

After an amazing week of films and iconic actors, the second annual Science Fiction Film Festival at Seattle Cinerama Theater welcomes Douglas Trumbull.  The Hollywood icon is famous for his visual effects works on 2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of The Third Kind and Blade Runner. SEATTLE CINERAMA SCI-FI FILM FESTIVAL 2014

Sci-fi fans should make warp speed to Emerald City for an amazing line-up of films and iconic guest stars. Paul G. Allen’s iconic Seattle Cinerama Theater will host its second annual Science Fiction Festival from May 1-12, with 12 days of special programming.

 

The festival will be highlighted by the world premiere of Douglas Trumbull’s short film, UFOTOG, along with screening of over three dozen of the genre’s most beloved movies and celebrity appearances by Jonathan Frakes, Tom Skerritt, and Sam J.
