Warner Brothers has director Chris McKay (The Lego Batman Movie) and writer Bill Dubuque (The Accountant) working a film based on Nightwing according to The Hollywood Reporter.

DC Comics Rebirth confirmed Dick Grayson is taking back the code-name Nightwing and wearing the famous costume in a brand new series.
In The New 52 Nightwing wore a black and red costume while devoted cosplayers still sported the beloved black and blue. The world watched Dick “die” at the hands of Lex Luthor in the Forever Evil finale. The original Robin kept the masquerade up to go an undercover mission for Batman. No costume, no code-name, Dick became a super spy investigating the evil Spyral in Grayson.
When DC Comics Rebirth begins in June, Dick is back in the fan-favorite costume, starring in a new Nightwing book and in a Titans team book. Dick was once Batman when Bruce Wayne was trapped in time and some readers loved that run. Dick will never permanently take over the Batman role but with Rebirth, is he better than Batman?
