FIRST DC REBIRTH Crossover in BATMAN Books

Monsters are coming to Gotham City. The Batman family will unite to stop them.

Batman #1 arrived this week kicking off a new era with a new creative team for the Dark Knight. DC Comics announced the first crossover event of the DC Rebirth era coming this fall.

Bruce Wayne is back as the Dark Knight with Duke Thomas (new costume, no code name yet) as his partner in fighting crime. Dick Grayson returns to his Nightwing code name and costume. Batman and Batwoman are co-leading Detective Comics.

New DC REBIRTH Comics for June 8, 2016

The iconic books the launched the Dark Knight and Man of Steel go in bold new directions while three iconic heroes get new beginnings as DC Comics Rebirth continues.

It’s a week so big we had to have a two sets of new comics picks of the week featuring an all DC edition of picks starting with Rise of the Batmen.

The Dark Knight and Batwoman together. Bruce Wayne and Kate Kane lead the next generation of heroes (Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake and Clayface?) as a mystery predator is outdoing Batman.

Big Changes for CASSANDRA CAIN And HARPER ROW

Major changes for two members of the Batman family ahead of DC Comics Rebirth.

Batman and Robin Eternal #26 marked the finale of the weekly series. It was the end of the Bat-family’s war with Mother and a new beginning for Cassandra Cain.

Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV were the show runners of the weekly series with a team of writers and artists. The duo wrote the big finish.

The story featured nearly every sidekick of Bruce Wayne and was The New 52 introduction of Cassandra Cain.

Cain chose an appropriate new code-name and one young hero is turned in the mask at the end of this final issue.
