Inhumans vs X-Men begins as Civil War II comes to a shocking end along with a ton of new number one issues from Marvel Now this November.

X-MEN VS INHUMAN POWER COUPLES

The secret showdown we never saw…until now.

Marvel shared new art from Death of X while announcing artist Aaron Kuder is now a Marvel exclusive creator.

It’s a huge first project for his Marvel reign: the start of the X-Men/Inhuman war and fate of Cyclops.

Death of X by writers Jeff Lemire (Extraordinary X-Men, Old Man Logan) and Charles Soule (Uncanny Inhumans) and Kuder will reveal what happened to Cyclops and Emma Frost in the eight months after the end of Secret Wars and the launch of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

When the new era began we learned the Terrigen Mists that created new Inhumans was killing and sterilizing mutants. Storm’s team established X-Haven in Limbo as a refuge for mutants they rescued from what became known as M-Pox. We learned Cyclops died in battle with the Inhumans. BEFORE DEATH OF X: LIFE and CRIMES of CYCLOPS

Is Cyclops missing or dead?

Did Scott Summers have it coming?

After bombshells from Storm in Extraordinary X-Men #2 and Jean Grey in issue 3 — X-fans are debating the fate of Summers.

Marvel announced Cyke’s fate will be revealed in Death of X, a four part limited series by Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule this fall.

As we anxiously await answers about the possible final days of Scott Summers after Secret Wars, we are looking back at the life, times and crimes of the man called Cyclops.

The man Professor Xavier chose to lead the mutants has never had it easy. He’s been put in incredible scenarios against impossible odds and faced tragedy after tragedy. HERO FALLS In CIVIL WAR II & More MARVEL July Books

Marvel prepared fans by warning an iconic character will die in Civil War II.

We can only speculate on who.

Now we know when.

Civil War II #3 teases “one of the biggest heroes in the Marvel Universe will fall” and the following issue declares the “shocking verdict” of “trial of the century.”

Before we speculate on who will fall…here’s a quick of Civil War II. A new Inhuman with the power to predict the future emerges. Some heroes want to change the future and harness this ability to prevent crime, others want to protect the future. Captain Marvel and Iron Man will lead to two factions of heroes.

MARVEL Teases DEATH OF X

Marvel revealed an ominous teaser via Twitter that sends a chill into the hearts of X-Fans:

The “Death of X” coming Fall 2016.

No official word on if this is an event, new book or story arc featuring what we assume is the X-Men.

Things are already bleak for the mutants since the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now began following Secret Wars:

M-Pox is spreading as the Terrigen Mists that create new Inhumans are killing and sterilizing mutants. No new mutants are being born and others are dying after exposure to the Mists.

Cyclops died (off-screen) in an attack on the Inhumans. Storm took the school to Limbo to create X-Haven to protect mutants from the mists in Extraordinary X-Men.
