DC Comics’ Scarlet Speedster is on the fast track for big exposure. The publisher revealed The Flash #30 will be the first issue by new creative team Robert Venditti and Van Jensen (Green Lantern) and artist Brett Booth via USA Today.

 

Barry Allen will have more procedural adventures in his role as Central City Police crime lab tech while another famous speedster joins the series. Wally West will be reintroduced in The Flash Annual #3 one week after the new team joins the main series. Continue reading THE FLASH New Creative Team

Long live the Dark Knight.

 

An all-star team of writers and artists created stories celebrating the past, present and future of Bruce Wayne and the Batman universe. Batman arrived in the original Detective Comics #27 in 1939.

Favorite Batman Series of the Year That Could…

Let me say up front I love all the Batman books but here’s the point I want to make:

 

Batman and Batman, Incorporated have powerhouse storytelling teams…with big publicity pushes behind them. The return of the Joker and death of Robin were huge events worthy of the marketing push and mainstream media attention.

DC Comics goes into the future with a new weekly series by an all-star creative team. The New 52 Futures End by Dan Jurgens, Jeff Lemire, Keith Giffen and Brian Azzarello was announced by the Associated Press. The new series will debut in May with Free Comic Book Day with a free zero issue.

Wonder Woman Casting Reaction by THE SUPERGIRLS Author

With news that Wonder Woman will be part of the Man of Steel sequel with Batman I reached out to the author who literally wrote the book on super heroines. Mike Madrid chronicled the history of women in comics in The Supergirls with a huge section devoted to the most famous woman in comics.

 

With such a long history, devoted fan following, iconic television series and numerous attempts at films and new television shows, the Amazon Princess finally hits the big screen. I asked Madrid about the casting choice.
