X-Men: Days of Future Past – the trailer is here. Based on the story by Chris Claremont, mutants from an apocalyptic future go into the past to change history and save the mutant race from extinction.

 

Director Bryan Singer returns to the X-family to unite the casts of the original X-trilogy and X-Men: First Class.   As you can see by the trailer, Singer and his team were inspired by the classic comic book story but with executed a huge twist in who becomes the blast into the past.   Watch and enjoy:

Director Bryan Singer chatted with fans via Twitter ahead of tomorrow’s trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Here are the 3 big highlights.

 

The huge cast will include new mutants in their cinematic debut. Bishop, Quicksilver and Blink have previously been confirmed. But today Singer said Warpath, Sunspot and Ink will appear in the film.

Singer share more blasts from the past with artifacts from X-Men: First Class in an earlier photo including Angel’s wing, Magneto’s helmet and Havok’s chestplate that harnessed his cosmic energy.

The X-Men vs. Fantastic Four?

 

Bryan Singer was the Fantasia Film Festival making big announcements about Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Cyclops as far as X-Men: Days of Future Past.

 

The director hinted at a possible Marvel Mashup movie too according to Comic Book Movie. While Fox is moving forward with a X-Force film written by Jeff Wadlow remember they are also rebooting Fantastic Four with Josh Trank directing. Matthew Vaughn is producing. Director Bryan Singer revealed how he’s filming the fastest mutant on the planet in a new behind the scenes look. The director is using an innovative method to shoot Evan Peters as Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) displays his mutant super speed.
