Marvel’s Jessica Jones is on Netflix. Krysten Ritter is the former superhero turned private investigator is the second of five streaming series. Based on Alias by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, this tough heroine may be Marvel’s darkest, grittiest project yet.

Jessica Jones introduces Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as villain Killgrave – The Purple Man plus supporting characters Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) and Jeryn Hogarth (Carrie-Ann Moss).

DAVID TENNANT is MARVEL VILLAIN in AKA JESSICA JONES

David Tennant will shed his heroic Time Lord image to play an infamous Marvel villain an upcoming Netflix series.

Marvel announced the actor who played the Tenth Doctor Who has been cast as Zebediah Killgrave (aka The Purple Man) in A.K.A. Jessica Jones. The acclaimed actor is also known for Broadchurch and the U.S. version of the series Gracepoint.

Krysten Ritter is the title hero of the second of five Marvel Netflix series (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders.)

Jones is a former superhero turned private investigator. In comics Killgrave is a villain from her past with the power to hypnotize victims to his command via pheromones he emits from his skin.
