One woman fights to save Earth from the most horrific monsters in science fiction history in a brand new Aliens series from Dark Horse Comics.

At the Dark Horse: CLASSIFIED! panel at New York Comic Con, writer Brian Wood (The Massive, Rebels) and artist Tristan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road, TMNT) were announced as the creative team on Aliens: Defiance. The new ongoing series comes just in time to celebrate the anniversary of Aliens.

Big news from Dark Horse Comics at Emerald City Comicon. The publisher announced the return of Barb Wire among ten new series in 2015 as it expands its Project Black Sky Line, a revival of 1990’s series like X and Ghost.

Barb Wire is a female bounty hunter who tracks superpowered marks to score massive rewards. Pamela Anderson played her on the big screen.

Dark Horse announces revealed four variant covers exclusively for Seattle’s Emerald City Comicon.

 

Dark Horse is celebrating the launch of several new series with Emerald City variants for Serenity #1, Buffy #1, Veil #1, and a very special variant of Witcher #1.

Serenity soars again.

 

One of my most anticipated comics coming in 2014 breathes new life into this outer space corners of the Whedonverse.

 

Joss Whedon created the short-lived but loved Firefly television series which was reborn as a feature film. Dark Horse Comics picks up the story of Mal Reynolds and his crew in Serenity: Leaves On the Wind.

 

Writer Zach Whedon and artists Georges Jeanty (Buffy, The Vampire Slayer) continue with Mal, a pregnant Zoe, River Tam and the rest of outlaws’ story after the events of the Serenity movie when they exposed the universe to the corrupt government’s crimes against their own people.
