The final showdown between Batman and Talia is almost here! Grant Morrison already killed off Bruce’s son so you can imagine anything can happen in this week’s Batman, Incorporated #13.

 

Damian was a casualty of the war between these lovers turned deadly rivals. Morrison always planned to kill off the Son of Batman.

 

When asked about his final Batman chapter by Comics Newsarama at San Diego Comic Con Morrison said:

Grant Morrison’s Batman finale is coming and he thinks you might hate it?

 

Batman, Incorporated #13 is the final showdown between Bruce Wayne and Talia. Damian was a casualty of the war between these lovers and deadly enemies. If you think killing Robin is bleak then just wait for next week’s showdown.

The impact of Damian’s death in Batman Incorporated #8 is still to be determined in the DC Universe. Batman and Robin by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason will continue.   The Joker is tormenting Bruce Wayne and promising the Death of the Family in the Batman books. Talia Al Ghul’s Leviathan has claimed an ally of Batman’s global family in Batman Inc.

  Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham are bringing the pain to Gotham City in this week’s Batman Incorporated #7. This is just one of Burnham’s pages courtesy Comics Newsarama. Bruce’s ex-lover wants put his Batman franchise out of business. The battered heroes lost one of their own. Batman has seen the future. It’s hell. The Joker’s final gag on Gotham City is the last laugh from another Bat villain.

This week’s Batman Incorporated #5 is the most disturbing and relentless chapter of Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham’s epic war between Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul for control of their son.

Bruce Wayne declares that Damian can no longer be the new Robin. In this chapter Morrison takes us back into the twisted future he created in Batman #666. In this nightmarish world Damian is Batman, Gotham City is plagued by Jokerized zombies and the last hope lies inside Arkham Asylum.

Chris Burnham delivers every dark, gritty, gruesome scene of a badass Batman and Gotham gone insane that Morrison conjures up. The issue is packed with action, some very disturbing acts and a cliffhanger that thrills your heart and breaks it.

Bruce Wayne in a death grip. Merlyn and some of DC’s greatest assassins assembled. Leviathan’s grip on Batman’s home is getting tighter. Good thing there’s a new dynamic duo in Gotham City!

In this week’s Batman Incorporated #4 Bruce Wayne’s global crime fighting franchise goes to work against the forces of Talia Al Ghul’s League of Assassins. Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham give members of Bruce’s army great screen time and moments. This issue features the debut of Wingman and Redbird – this twist is a great example of how the creative team deliver crazy comic fun mixed with drama, violence and sharp humor.

Morrison and Burnham have been building to a huge showdown between Bruce’s Batman Inc versus Talia’s Leviathan for the soul of their son.Just as the war is coming to a head Bruce makes a decision in the final panel that may seal Damian’s fate. It’s another entertaining chapter that ends with a “WTF?!” moment.
