The final piece of a puzzle still leaves fans well…puzzled.

All this week Marvel asked Who Is Mosaic?

The final piece came together with the promise of finding out in Uncanny Inhumans #11 by Charles Soule and Carlos Pachecho.

The preview for issue reveals it’s set during Civil War II with Queen Medusa retaliating after Iron Man’s action in the main event series. It’s the Inhumans vs Stark Industries.

Ulysses is a new Inhuman with the power to see the future which sets off the conflict in Civil War II. Soule has already co-created an army of new Inhumans. Lash already leaped from comic to television on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

If Mosaic is another new Inhuman, she could turn the tide in the war led by Tony Stark and Carol Danvers.

In the aftermath of Avengers Standoff, Steve Rogers is young again. Armed with a new shield and sporting a new costume, Marvel’s original Captain America will star in a Free Comic Book Day issue the first Saturday in May.

Writer Nick Spencer, Executive Editor Tom Brevoort answered fan questions in a Marvel live event and talked about what’s next for the original Sentinel of Liberty as he goes back in action in a brand new series.

Spencer will continue writing Captain America: Sam Wilson and launch Captain America: Steve Rogers.

Rogers returns to action in the field after playing the role of commanding officer with big challenges including Civil War II, the Red Skull’s terrifying new Hydra, and Baron Zemo is still out there.

The return of Zemo of Red Skull mark a return of classic rogues gallery in the Rogers books.

In July Steve Rogers book will tie into Civil War II with Cap trying to broker a truce between Carol Danvers and Tony Stark. After leading the anti-registration movement opposite Iron Man in the first Civil War, how will Steve’s role change with the new conflict.

“He’s aware the impact him taking a side would take, but he’s more interested in just stopping the fighting. He’s determined to prevent a second Civil War–he’s trying to be Switzerland.” Continue reading CAPTAIN AMERICA STEVE ROGERS Return For CIVIL WAR II & HYDRA

Marvel shared the cover and new details from Captain Marvel #6  as a huge superhero showdown spills in Carol’s solo book.

Civil War II writer Brian Michael Bendis teased the cover by Kris Anka at Emerald City Comicon a couple of weeks ago. I got “busted” and called out by the panel (in a teasing way) for cheering for it.

Christos Gage and Ruth Fletcher Gage take over Captain Marvel as Carol becomes a major player in the conflict. Continue reading CAPTAIN MARVEL’S Stand in CIVIL WAR II

One of the most shocking moments in Marvel history came from Peter Parker in the first Civil War.

At the time, Parker was married to Mary Jane, living in Stark Tower and an Avengers. The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man chose Tony Stark’s pro-registration side and unmasked before the world. Parker would later regret his decision, join Steve Rogers but his life would be changed again.

Peter Parker will have a critical choice between Stark and Carol Danvers in this year’s follow-up. Whose side will Parker choose?

Marvel announced Civil War II: Amazing Spider-Man by Christos Gage and Travel Foreman, one of the many Civil War II tie-ins at C2E2.

Spidey is torn but he’s a very different man from the hero during  the first event.

Parker is now a jet-setting genius like Stark but won’t pick a side until he learns more about the Inhuman at the center of the new conflict. Continue reading SPIDER-MAN Won’t Pick a Side In CIVIL WAR II
