In just under year we will be cheering for the Amazon Princess as she finally hits the big screen in her own standalone film.

For now we can behold the first trailer for Wonder Woman presented by Warner Brothers at San Diego Comic Con.

Gal Gadot is Diana of the Amazons who finds Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and is soon on an adventure off her mythical island and into World War I.

Action, mythology and even humor. Director Patty Jenkins takes the DC comics icon from page to film.

Chris Hemsworth will boldly return to the Star Trek film franchise.

Paramount announced Hemsworth will reprise his role as George Kirk in a fourth Star Trek film. Fans are awaiting the launch of Star Trek Beyond (new trailer below) this Friday. The fourth film will see Captain James Kirk (Chris Pine) unite with his late father, George, who died in 2009’s Star Trek reboot by director J.J. Abrams. From Captain Kirk to Colonel Steve Trevor.

Chris Pine has reached an agreement to join the DC Comics Movie Universe as Steve Trevor according to The Wrap. Warner Brothers has not made an official announcement yet.

Pine will star opposite Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman with possible sequels as part of the deal.

Patty Jenkins is directing the solo film starring the Amazon warrior following Diana Prince’s debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

MARVEL Stars Chris Pratt, Chadwick Boseman Are GQ MEN of the Year

Two Marvel Cinematic Universe stars are GQ Men of the Year. It’s a fitting finale to a great year at the box-office for comic book movies.

Guardians of the Galaxy lead Chris Pratt and upcoming Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman are among this year’s honorees.

GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson hosted the 19th annual “Men of the Year” Party, celebrating this year’s distinguished honorees featured in the December issue “who have undeniably left their mark in 2014.”

Star Trek Set Photo – Update

  My geek heart soared at warp speed to the Delta Quadrant and back when I saw this photo! Filming on the Star Trek sequel is underway.The first set photo of the cast and crew on the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise by Robert Orci. Thanks to Comic Book Movie and they’re sharp-eyed team for spotting it on Twitter. Now just please give us a hint on the villain!!! Klingons please.

 Now excitment is fizzling – some friends tell me this is actually a photo from 2009 before the first film – I’ll check more. Sigh – I still hold my plea for Klingons in ST2!
