What about Bruce?

Before I deep dive into BATMAN #50 I want to give a SPOILER ALERT plus I’ve waited some time after the book’s release to cope with the post-wedding issue recovery. Continue reading BATMAN WEDDING Shocker, The Other One!

Batman meets The Avengers?

Not those Avengers.

John Steed and Mrs. Emma Peel were the world’s coolest spies in the 1960’s on The Avengers television series.

Now the Caped Crusader and Boy Wonder join Steel & Peel for a groovy retro adventure.

Here’s the official announcement and description for the first chapter:

“Holy 1960s-TV crossover! Capitalizing on the past success of the Green Hornet and The Man From U.N.C.L.E crossovers, DC Comics is partnering with BOOM! Studios to pair together two of the hippest shows from the ’60s in the new Digital First comic book miniseries BATMAN ’66 MEETS STEED AND MRS. PEEL.

Launching June 8th as a 12-chapter, bi-weekly series based on the classic 1960s Batman TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward, the comic will feature Batman and Robin coming face-to-face for the first time with the other (and English) dynamic duo John Steed and Mrs. Peel – characters from the hit ’60s British TV series The Avengers starring Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg.

Critically acclaimed British comic book writer Ian Edginton has been tapped to pen the series, joined by artist Matthew Dow Smith. Cover artists include BATMAN ’66 veteran Michael Allred and fan-favorite artist Cat Staggs, who contributes a variant cover for issue #1. Continue reading BATMAN ’66 Meets STEED & MRS. PEEL

ZERO HOUR was the Crisis in Time event by Dan Jurgens from 1994. In this week’s tie-in books, the heroes of ZERO HOUR are back including the hooked Aquaman, Azrael, the 90’s punk Superboy and an old school version of Suicide Squad…and Hal Jordan as Parallax!
