Mutants in love. Romance among the X-Men never ends with happily ever after. Wolverine/Laura and Angel/Young Warren share a romance novel cover and reunion in All-New X-Men #12.

Writer Dennis Hopeless gave fans of the two lovers a big moment and delivered a love letter to fans of old school villains not seen in years.

The Apocalypse Wars arc focused on Evan and young Hank McCoy back in time with the original En Sabah Nur.

The new arc picks up the romance of Laura and Warren which isn’t going smooth. Rich Warren wants to woo Laura but she wants to cut loose.

Thanks to young Cyclops playing with Beast’s “threat tracker” Laura gets a ton of dangerous solo missions in which she unleash the claws.

A classic X-Men battle is revisited in the latest Secret Wars Battleworld book. Remember when Genosha was a technological powerhouse built on the backs of mutant slave labor?

The X-Men brought them down but payback was in store as several villains banded together.

The X-Men clashed with the island nation one final time near the end of the classic runs by Chris Claremont and Louise Simonson. X-Men and New Mutants from every era were caught in the international intrigue as cyborg Cameron Hodge and Genosha unleashed their X-Tinction Agenda against the mutant heroes.

Way back in the days of Chris Claremont and Jim Lee’s X-Men and Rob Liefeld on New Mutants there was the X-Tinction Agenda.

Imagine the mutants versus an entire nation of hate that enslaved mutants led by a cyborg monster.

The united X-Men, X-Factor and New Mutants defeated Cameron Hodge and the forces of Genosha but the fight went a different way as we’ll see in a  Secret Wars: Warzones tie-in book.
