Blink is back again.

Marvel announced Jamie Chung has been cast to star in the Untitled FOX Marvel Project from Bryan Singer and Matt Nix.

Chung will star in a series regular role as Clarice Fong, better known as Blink, described as “a sarcastic and lively tomboy. Clarice’s naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly ‘home,’ Clarice is slowly becoming herself again.”

Blink appeared in a future timeline in X-Men: Days of Future Past played by Fan BingBing.

No hero is safe in X-Men: Apocalypse!

As X-fans await the next chapter in Fox’s franchise director Bryan Singer has a warning:

“I’ll kill any of those characters any day I want. They’re all fair game,” he joked in a set visit according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision, referring to characters in the final scene of Days of Future Past. “Anything can happen.”

The last film reset continuity, erased the events of The Last Stand, and gave us a happy ending for the adult Scott, Jean, Storm and more mutant heroes.

BRYAN SINGER Teases CALIBAN & MORLOCKS in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Will the X-Men go down fighting the Morlocks in X-Men: Apocalypse?

Director Bryan Singer teased a major part of mutant history via Instagram:

The director was calling the shot in a tunnel looking set with the description:

“Shooting Caliban’s place of “business” #XMen #XMenApocalypse”

In comics, the Morlocks were a group of disfigured mutants who lived in seclusion beneath the tunnels of Manhattan. This hidden tribe was named after the mutants of the future in The Time Machine by H.G. Wells.

The cast of First Class and Days of Future Past return to face the first mutant born in ancient Egypt. The new film is set in the 1980’s. Bryan Singer announced Olivia Munn will play Betsy Braddock in X-Men: Apocalypse. The star of The Newsroom, Magic Mike has a resume packed with fanboy and girl geek cred including Attack of the Show, Chuck.

Who is Psylocke?

Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock was the sister of Captain Britain and a mutant precognitive and telepath created by Chris Claremont as part of the Marvel UK line then brought into the X-Men. Abducted into the Mojoverse, Betsy was given bionic eyes by the sorceress Spiral and first received the code-name Psylocke. ARCHANGEL In X-MEN APOCALYPSE

Director Bryan Singer revealed Archangel will be appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse via Instagram.

“Always happy to share some cool stuff with my favorite film magazine @empiremagazine more to come on their April 30th issue.”

Ben Hardy (EastEnders) has been reported to be playing a young Warren Worthington. The film will have new actors playing younger versions of Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm and Nightcrawler since it’s set in the 1980’s.

The reveal by Singer is clearly showing the Archangel version of the character. In comics Warren lost his mutant feather wings and Apocalypse gave him metal wings that shot blades and remade him into one of his Four Horsemen as seen in this image from X-Factor #86. Director Bryan Singer sets the record straight on the “Rogue Cut” of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The revised sequel will include the scenes featuring Anna Paquin as Rogue that were edited out of the original theatrical version due to time constraints.

“For the record the Rogue Cut of #Xmen #DOPT is 17 minutes more than the original cut. And has a few little changes I made. :)”

YOUNG CYCLOPS, JEAN GREY & STORM in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Three young actors have been cast as three of the most iconic mutants in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Director Bryan Singer revealed Alexandra Shipp will play Ororo Munroe (aka Storm) Sophie Turner will be Jean Grey and Tye Sheridan will portray Scott Summers (aka Cyclops) via Twitter.

The new film will be set in the 1980’s with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence returning as Professor Xavier, Magneto and Mystique. Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine.
