When Damian was killed in Batman, Incorporated – Bruce’s story of loss, grief, anger continued in Batman and Robin by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason. The team book became a team-up book as guest stars joined Bruce in his search for Damian’s body and a way to possibly revive him.

 

The hunt for Robin is over. Bruce’s war with Ra’s Al Ghul is far from over.

Long live Richard Grayson – DC superspy.

 

After teasing the final fate of Nightwing and the cancellation of his solo series fans worried Richard Grayson would be killed on in Forever Evil.

 

DC Comics revealed Batman’s first sidekick will star in Grayson by writers Tim Seeley and Tom King as revealed in USA Today. King is a former CIA counterterrorism operations officer. Batman Eternal #1 arrived this week with a shocking look at the future of Bruce Wayne and Gotham City. Now fans will have to follow the weekly year-long series to see how Bruce ended up in the horrific scenario at the mercy of a ruthless villain who has seemingly taken Batman’s world apart bit by bit.

 

Scott Snyder and James Tynion revealed at Emerald City Comicon that they wrote the skeleton and ending of the story but a team of writers will weave multiple stories leading up to the big finale.
