Tony Stark is the Iron Man falling back to Earth.

After two arcs of outer space adventures writer Kieron Gillen is bringing Iron Man back home. After exploring The Secret Origin of Tony Stark Gillen teases what’s next on Marvel.com.

“#16 and #17, this is what Tony brings back from space. Tony has changed and stuff has changed on Earth. That’s what is really interesting to me. It’s the classic journey. You send someone away and they learn and bring stuff back. There’s sort of an odyssey vibe in it, where he discovers some things about himself. Of course, time continues back on Earth and in the Marvel Universe, Continue reading IRON MAN Back to Earth Preview

Marvel confirmed James Spader will play Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Emmy-Award Winner television and film actor (The Blacklist) will play the evil artificial intelligence and the legendary enemy of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the sequel coming in 2015. No word on if Spader will be the voice of Ultron or the portrayal. Whedon has stated the origin of Ultron will be different from the comic books.

Here’s my theory on who will create Ultron and I guess we can now disregard my theory on who will play him! What do you think of Spader’s casting and the theory – once you read it!

Writer Dennis Hopeless says don’t count Cable’s team out just because they up against some of the Avengers and X-Men’s heaviest hitters:

“There’s no denying that the Avengers are the safe bet here but it does say X-Force on the cover,” he notes. “Colossus is no slouch in a brawl, Domino and Boom Boom are both pretty scrappy and the X-Force science team of Dr. Nemesis and Forge always [has] a few tricks up their sleeves. We’ll see what they come up with,” Hopeless tells Marvel.com. Continue reading X-FORCE vs. AVENGERS Final Showdown?
