The Mad God of Titan is a major Marvel Comics super villain who appeared in the post-credits sequence of The Avengers as the mastermind behind the Chitauri and Loki’s invasion of Earth.
Two major characters in Guardians (Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Karen Gillan as Nebula) are the daughters of Thanos who it was almost assured the Mad God would appear in the film. The “A” is the Avengers logo and the “X” is the X-Men logo so what could it mean?
In the aftermath of Avengers vs. X-Men Marvel launched Uncanny Avengers by Rick Remender. Steve Rogers and Wolverine formed the Avengers Unity Squad by recruiting members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Children of the Atom in a way to heal the divide between the groups.
Planet X is the current and finale arc of Remember’s Uncanny Avengers epic. Remember could be bringing the series to a close and setting up for a relaunch.
