ANDY SERKIS On AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Role

Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Lord of the Rings) is a motion-capture consultant on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars VII and now reveals he has an expanded role in the Marvel sequel according to Variety.

 

“The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant, and I’m playing a role in both films. On The Avengers, I’ve been working closely with Mark Ruffalo,” Serkis said.

The Captain America villain stole Professor Xavier’s brain and harnessed his telepathic powers in a new war on mutants in the early pages of Uncanny Avengers. From early promo art it appears Red Skull has united Marvel’s greatest villains.

Avengers & X-Men: AXIS pits Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Children of the Atom against the Red Skull. The Marvel event begins this Fall by Rick Remender and crosses over into other titles.

 

One of the most anticipated battles will happen in the pages of the Magneto solo book in the March to AXIS. Magneto’s parents were killed by the Nazis so that’s reason enough for Erik to hate the Red Skull but there’s an even more powerful reason: the Red Skull stole the brain of Charles Xavier. MARK RUFFALO On BIGGER HULK Role In AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Hulk fans can expect more of the Green Goliath when Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Re-Assemble for the big screen.

 

Mark Ruffalo (The Normal Heart) is teasing the that the Hulk will get more screen time in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
