After sharing this first look at DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, here’s a trailer for the upcoming team-up spinoff series from the team of Arrow/The Flash.
The cast includes Arthur Darvill as Time Master Rip Hunter, Ciara Renee as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold and Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave.
Now you can see Hawkgirl take flight, the debut of the White Canary, Ray Palmer finally become The Atom (as seen in comics) and reveals the big villain the super team will take on.
The Arrow/Flash spinoff is a go and has a title: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
DC Comics and The CW announced the new super hero team show that’s set within the Arrow and Flash universe got a green light for next season.
Here’s the official synopsis:
“When heroes alone are not enough…the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. DC Comics and The CW revealed a first look of Brandon Routh at The Atom.
It’s huge news for fans of the Justice League legend famous for getting small.
Routh joined Arrow this season as Dr Ray Palmer, new owner of Oliver Queen’s company.
This season we’ve seen Palmer in the labs working with the A.T.O.M. prototype getting closer to his big discovery that give him the power to go microscopic.
There’s a growth spurt of size changing heroes in comic book inspired mediums.
Getting small is big time in Marvel movies and DC inspired television.
Ant-Man
Paul Rudd is playing Scott Lang in Marvel’s Ant-Man in 2015. The master thief is recruited by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to protect his invention – Pym particles allowing a human to shrink to insect size and a helmet that lets him communicate with insects.
