Emerald City Comicon announces a new celebrity guest with a super background among comic book fans.

 

Brandon Routh will appear at the big event March 27-29, 2015 in Seattle.

ARROW Casts RA’S AL GHUL

DC Comics announced Matt Nable (Riddick, The Killer Elite) has been cast as Ra’s Al Ghul on The CW series Arrow. The super villain was mentioned in Season Two but will be the main nemesis for Season Three.

 

Ra’s Al Ghul is the immortal leader of the League of Assassins from Batman comics and producers describe this version “as proud and unforgiving, Ra’s is a ruthless strategist, a master of martial arts, and a shaper of history. ARROW Writer Sends X-MEN Into Space

Arrow Executive Producer/Writer Marc Guggenheim take over the all-female X-Men book this week and sends the team into orbit.

 

Deathbird shows up at death’s door at The Peak. Abigail Brand of S.W.O.R.D. calls in the mutants. It’s part of the new X-writer’s plan to take the Women of the Atom to new heights.

BRANDON ROUTH Joins ARROW As ATOM

Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) will play another DC Comics superhero. Routh will join the cast of Arrow as scientist Ray Palmer (The Atom) next season according to TV Line.
