CHANNING TATUM As GAMBIT Confirmed?

Channing Tatum will play Gambit.

X-Fans – I think we have a confirmation.

 

Tatum has stated Gambit is his favorite X-Man and how much he’d like to play him.

 

After several rounds of teasing and much like the charming mutant thief would do…the story seems to be confirmed.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is coming fast on the horizon. X-Men: Apocalypse is slated for 2016. The Wolverine sequel is clawing into theaters after that. Producers have started talking the possibilities of more X-Men solo spinoff  movies including Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

 

The fuel to a Gambit movie fire are lit up again after the MTV Movie Awards. Channing Tatum told MTV he’s met with Producer Lauren Schuler Donner and again expressed his love for Remy Labeau, the mutant played by Taylor Kitsch in X-Men: Origins: Wolverine.

Lucas Till reprises his role as Alex Summers (aka Havok) in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

 

“It’s really a small thing,” he says in the new Empire magazine. “A lot of people didn’t make it back. I’m fortunate.”

Which Mutants Could Be In X-MEN APOCALYPSE

X-Men: Days of Future Past in just a few months away but director Bryan Singer is already thinking of which mutants would be in the sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse.

 

“I’m considering a Gambit and potentially a young Nightcrawler for Apocalypse,” he said. “[I was] going to have Nightcrawler appear [in Days of Future Past] and even wrote a scene, but I felt that we were forcing too many mutants known history,” Singer told Cine Premiere. Bryan Singer revealed the Children of the Atom face the world’s first mutant in X-Men Apocalypse in 2016.

 

Apocalypse first appeared in X-Factor (the original five X-Men.) Comic book legend Walt Simonson (Thor, Star Slammers) played an integral role in shaping what would become one of the greatest X-Men villains. You can see his version of En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse’s real name) on the cover of X-Factor #25.
