Guy Pearce is menacing Tony Stark as the Extremis empowered Aldrich Killian in Iron Man 3 this summer but last year the versatile actor played another twisted genius in a summer sci-fi adventure.

Pearce wasn’t just the billionaire behind the mission of Prometheus on the big screen. Peace became an internet sensation in a viral video revealing Pearce as Peter Weyland– founder of the “company” in the Alien movie mythology.

Marvel revealed a new poster for Iron Man 3 starring Guy Pearce. The actor who played the founder of the “company” in the Alien movie mythology (Prometheus) will make scientist Aldrich Killian come of life on the big screen. Killian is a rival of Tony Stark created in the comic book classic: Iron Man: Extremis. I’m excited to see the scenes between Killian and Stark. Rebecca Hall plays Maya Hansen, another scientist on the frightening science project from nanotech hell.

Robert Downey, Jr will face Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin. Plus, we’ll see Don Cheadle reprise his role as James Rhodes but wearing the Iron Patriot armor in the sequel.

Iron Man 3 arrives May 3.
