A big news weekend for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans got even bigger.

At Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel: the publisher revealed it’s recruited two comic book all-stars for brand new S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 based on the television series.

 

Writer Mark Waid (Daredevil, Captain America) with artists Carlos Pachecho, Alan Davis, Chris Sprouse and more to come.

LUCY LAWLESS Role & MOCKINGBIRD Tease in AGENTS OF SHIELD Panel

The cast and creative team of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were saluted by fans at the Marvel Television Presents Panel at San Diego Comic Con.

 

Lucy Lawless will join the series as S.H.I.E.L.D. veteran Isabelle. Hartly.

DEATHLOK Ongoing Series Announced

Marvel officially announced a new Deathlok ongoing book spinning out of this summer’s Original Sin event.

 

Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) became Deathlok on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this past season.

 

The new Deathlok will co-star in Original Sins #1. The first issue of the new anthology series is out now.  The Deathlok ongoing will be by writer Nathan Edmondson (Black Widow, Punisher) and artist Mike Perkins (Captain America, The Stand, Astonishing X-Men.) HAYLEY ATWELL At Seattle International Film Festival Opening Night

Before Hayley Atwell returns as 1940’s Agent Peggy Carter she’s promoting her role as a muse to Jimi Hendrix in the swinging 60’s.

 

Atwell (Marvel’s Agent Carter, Captain America films) appeared at the Seattle International Film Festival Opening Night event tonight.

 

Atwell stars in the Opening Night Film: Jimi: All Is By My Side. Atwell  joined director John Ridley for gala event screening. The film is based on Jimi Hendix’s pre-fame years in London. André Benjamin plays Hendrix. The film features more stars of sci-fi including Burn Gorman of Torchwood and Ruth Negga (Rayna) of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER Update

ABC revealed new details for Marvel’s Agent Carter. Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as Peggy Carter from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

 

The series will reveal the origins of the Marvel Universe and S.H.I.E.L.D. The sizzle reel included footage from the Agent Carter one-shot showing Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark (father of Tony aka Iron Man)
