Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back for new missions next season. ABC announced it will pick up both series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hayley Atwell will return as Peggy Carter for the second season of prequel series set after the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 1946. No official word on if co-stars James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) and Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark) will return. The retro series was filled with Marvel Easter Eggs and origins including the Red Room of Russia’s Black Widow program, future Iron Man villains and the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D.
