This is not the classic Man of Steel you knew. First Superman kissed Wonder Woman in Justice League #13. Now he’s making a major life decision. According to USA Today Clark Kent will resign from the Daily Planet in this week’s Superman #13. What gets the mild-mannered reporter so fired up he calls it quits? It’s not the Superman you knew and that’s kind of the point. DC relauched their entire universe to reflect younger heroes and more modern world. Could Clark end up on a cable news network or start his own You Tube channel or blog?
That’s not the only big change coming to DC’s biggest icon. A major new Kryptonian enemy will Superman, Supergirl and Superboy in the He’l on Earth storyline. Is the alien threat too much for Superman? Will Kal-El be forced to turn to his greatest enemy? Clark is seen visiting Lex Luthor on the cover of Superman #15 coming out in December.
When DC relaunched The New 52 Superman was no longer married to Lois Lane and The Daily Planet newspaper is part of the multimedia giant Galaxy Broadcasting. Editors says the Superman/Wonder Woman romance is the new status quo but what about Clark’s career?

It’s an exciting time to be a Superman fan. 2013 is Superman’s 75th Anniversary. The Superman reboot Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill and directed by Zach Snyder flies into theaters next year.
